AIRSCREAM UK contributes to relief efforts in Ukraine
In 2022, AIRSCREAM UK donated USD$20,000 to the Serhiy Pryula Charity Foundation to aid humanitarian relief efforts of Ukrainian people affected by the ongoing war. The donation was part of AIRSCREAM’s CSR initiatives to contribute a portion of its profits towards charitable causes.
The donated funds were used to purchase a diesel generator which is used to power the villages of Liubymyka and Kreshcheniyka and their water pumping towers. The remainder were used to purchase a boiler to provide heating for the Kramatorsk City Hospital.
Sam O, AIRSCREAM Group CEO says, “Ukraine is an early supporter of AIRSCREAM UK. Their courage and resilience are great inspiration to us, and we wanted to do something in return to help the Ukrainian people.”
Though heartened that the donated funds are providing some comfort for Ukrainians, AIRSCREAM UK remains concerned at the prolonged conflict in Ukraine and hopes that peace returns to the region once more.
Moving forward, AIRSCREAM UK hopes to participate in more community outreach and empowerment programmes that improve quality of life and promote healthier lifestyles.
