Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

This competition is open to all natural persons who are legal residents and/or citizens of South Africa and South African Customs Union (SACU), aged 18 years or older, and possess a valid South African identity document.

Exclusions

Employees, directors, officers, shareholders, members, partners (and their immediate family members) of AIRSCREAM, as well as any affiliated entities and advertising agencies involved in the competition or their subsidiaries, are ineligible to participate. AIRSCREAM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates this rule. Furthermore, individuals who have won any AIRSCREAM competitions within the past three months are also not eligible.

Prize Representation

Product images used in promotional materials are for *illustrative purposes only and may not represent the actual prize. AIRSCREAM is not responsible for inaccurate prize descriptions provided by third parties involved in the competition.

Competition Period

The competition will commence in December 2024 and conclude on 31 March 2025. Entries received after 31 March 2025 will not be considered.

Prize Details

One participant will win a new Volkswagen Golf Type R, valued at R1,000,000.00. The vehicle will be delivered with minimal mileage (delivery only). The winner must have a valid South African driver’s license and provide proof of insurance at the time of prize handover, which will take place at a designated location.

Entry Mechanics

To enter, participants must scratch the QR code on the top side of the AirsPops ONE USE XV box, scan it to be directed to the competition website, follow the instructions, fill in their details, and submit. Participants are also encouraged to follow AIRSCREAM on social media for updates.

Winner Announcement

The winner will be announced on social media during a draw on 4 April 2025. The winner will be contacted via phone and/or email after their name is drawn.

Audit

Competition results will be audited by an independent auditor to ensure fairness.

Contact Details

If the selected winner provides incorrect contact information or cannot be reached, AIRSCREAM reserves the right to select an alternate winner. Additionally, if a winner refuses or is unable to accept the prize, another winner will be chosen from eligible entries.

Media Participation

Winners may be requested to participate in media coverage, including broadcast or publication, at AIRSCREAM's discretion. No compensation will be provided for such participation, although winners may decline without affecting their eligibility to receive the prize.

Data Protection

Personal information collected during the competition will be processed in accordance with South African and South African Customs Union (SACU) data protection laws and AIRSCREAM's privacy policy, available at Privacy Policy. By entering the competition, participants agree to the use of their personal information for the administration of the competition.

Judging

The decision of the judges regarding the selection of the winner is final and binding. No appeals or queries will be entertained.

Geographic Restrictions

This competition is open exclusively to participants residing in South Africa and South African Customs Union (SACU). Winners must hold a valid South African driver's license. Entries from outside South Africa will not be considered, even if products are purchased within the country.

Prize Claim

The winner must claim the prize within 30 days of being notified. Failure to do so, or failure to provide necessary documentation, will result in disqualification, and a new winner will be selected. To claim the prize, winners must submit written confirmation via email to winwithxv@airscreamuk.com.

Prize Terms

No substitution, exchange, or cash equivalent for non-cash prizes is allowed. Prizes are non-transferable and subject to availability. AIRSCREAM reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equivalent value without prior notice.

Competition Changes

AIRSCREAM reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition and its terms and conditions without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, war, civil unrest, or changes in applicable laws or regulations.

Entry Liability

AIRSCREAM is not liable for any lost, damaged, or delayed entries due to technical or other reasons.

Fraud Prevention

AIRSCREAM reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraud, dishonesty, or cheating.

Terms Amendments

These terms and conditions may be updated or amended at any time by AIRSCREAM without prior notice.
