Overview
AIRSCREAM UK is looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse & Factory Operation Manager to oversee and manage all warehouse, factory and shipping in our facility based in Czech Republic. This role requires an individual who can ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective functioning of the warehouse, factory, and shipping departments, and maintain the highest standards of safety and productivity.
Job Description
- Plan, manage, and monitor the daily operations of the warehouse, factory, and shipping departments.
- Optimize processes and resources to ensure timely production, storage, and distribution.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse, factory, and shipping teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Address team conflicts and ensure a positive working environment.
- Ensure efficient space utilization, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and minimizing waste.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain required stock levels.
- Oversee and streamline the shipping process to guarantee timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with local and international carriers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective shipping rates.
- Monitor and address shipping-related issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national regulations, including safety standards.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety drills.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure all machinery is up to standards.
- Analyze operation data and generate regular reports on performance, efficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Monitor budgets and manage costs effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, procurement, and HR.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, customers, and transport companies.
- Align warehouse, factory, and shipping operations with company goals.
- Plan and manage future growth and expansion.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field. Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse, factory, and shipping operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proficient in warehouse management and shipping software and tools.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Czech; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Knowledge of Czech Republic’s industry regulations, safety standards, and shipping protocols.
