Public Relations Communications Manager
(Malaysia & Australia)

The Group Public Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing the public image and reputation of the company on a global scale. This role will report directly to the Group CEO and will work closely with the executive team and regional leaders to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation.

Pay Grade: 10
Location: AIRSCREAM Campus, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

 

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement a global public relations strategy that aligns with the company's mission, vision, and values
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry experts across key markets
  • Oversee the development of all company communications, including press releases, media statements, and social media content
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications channels
  • Act as a spokesperson for the company when interacting with media, investors, and other stakeholders
  • Manage crisis communication situations and work with internal teams to develop appropriate responses
  • Provide guidance and support to regional teams in the development and execution of local PR campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to inform future PR strategies
  • Manage the PR budget and ensure that all initiatives are delivered within budget and on time
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, such as marketing and corporate communications, to ensure alignment of messaging and objectives

        Job Requirements:

        • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field
        • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations with a strong focus on global PR management
        • Strong understanding of media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with other languages as a plus
        • Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns
        • Experience in managing PR agencies and external vendors
        • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and insights to drive decision-making
        • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
        • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
        • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
